Do you believe it takes a little bit of jealousy to make a relationship last? I'm not talking about jealousy to the point where it becomes controlling. Do you think a little bit of jealousy is healthy?

I guess---sometimes. I find it cute when SO get's jealous lol.

That's how I see it. Like it kind of annoyed me that BD would never get jealous. It made me feel like he really wasn't into the relationship. He didn't care if I was talking to guys or not. He never really asked who I was hanging out with. I didn't want him to be controlling but one upping a guy I was talking to once in a while would have been nice.

Idk.. like, I'm never jealous of SO..and he's never jealous of anything I do. Seriously.

I don't find it cute or healthy at all.

My husband and I are both extremely jealous...it works for us...but I have to say that is does strain our relationship when we both have our bouts of going bat smurf crazy jealous...I do it more than he does. lmao. It works for us though..haha.

SO is never jealous... and some times it bugs me. I know he's not jealous because he trusts me, but some times it makes me feel as if he's not jealous because no one else ever pays attention to me.
I think that, maybe, if I actually ever got flirted with by someone else, I would feel great that SO doesn't feel he has to worry.
This way it's more like he's enforcing that no one else is interested.

Jealousy annoys the smurfing hell out of me. It's one of my greatest pet peeves. DH doesn't care who I talk to, where I go, or anything of the sort and I'm the same with him.

Its a normal human emotion. As long as it doesn't develop into trying to control your SO, or interfere with your relationship I don't see the problem.

I think that people who insist a healthy relationship thrives on a little jealousy are just making excuses.

Nope. Jealousy is a useless emotion & unhealthy, IMO.
