How much protein is too much?

I just started using myfitnesspal and I went way over on protein today. It says the goal is 57 grams and I ate 84 grams. Is that bad? I'm not super active at the moment but I'm hoping to get more exercise in soon. I try to go for a walk everyday but I'm definitely not running marathons. Should I try to eat less protein? I stay within calories and carbs no problem but for some reason I'm getting more protein than I realize.

protien is good for you and helps you loose fat & build lean muscle. up to 1gram per lb of body weight, if you are exercisizing is good but u need increase the amounts slowly so your digestive system can adjust to it(so u dont get constipatated) . you also need to eat more fiber rich foods and drink plenty of water

Ok, thanks so I that shouldn't be too much since I definitely don't weight 84 lbs   And I'm eating lots of fruits/veggies and drinking lots of water so I should be good.

yes mam. its the calories, carbs, and fat grams that u dont want to exceed......protien and fiber are okay to go over the recommendation(just might cause some bloating, gas, or constipation)
