I allways played soothing music. All of my babies would calm right down when I would do this..... Relief for the bruised ribs.......lol

look at the parts that you see coming out and guess which one it is. thats all ways been a past time of mines when i was pregnant.

Think of it this way: movement = healthy baby. Well not necessarily healthy... but atleast you know there up and about. I get paranoid when I don't feel my babygirl move for periods of time ever since I read something about umbilical chord strangulation. Maybe I'm just paranoid... but I'm happy everytime I feel her kickin me like crazy  .

I know that's gonna change in the next 10 weeks tho... Lol...

I never tried playing music to calm her down... but I notice that when I sing to myself (i do that a lot lol), she likes to calm down.

Hahah that's hilarious, Similar thing with me!!! When her daddy starts singing, she starts kickin the shit outta me. I find it hilarious. He does NOT HAVE the best singing voice at all... it's like he LIKES to purposely strain his voice on mariah carey's high notes...

Edit to add: YES, he likes to sing mariah carey, and a whole bunch of other female vocalist's songs (not in a gay way, more of a goofy way lol). We're both suckas for slow jams
