Most contemporary Christians don’t subscribe to Old Testament laws anymore. They go by the covenant established by Jesus in the New Testament. If Old Testament laws were still truly enforced, then 90% of the earths population would have already been struck dead by Yahweh. I’m not saying its right, but think about this. How many people do you know that have never broke the ten commandments given to Moses on the mountain? There are people that break them on a daily basis. The Old Testament was originally written as a moral guidebook if you will for the Jewish people. You might remember that Yahweh declared them his chosen people in the OT, so by that rationale if you are not Jewish then you are going to hell anyway, right?

it is not the religion itself but the people in it who are not accepting. I am christian and I don't "hate" gay people, I just don't agree with there lifestyles. I will befriend a homosexual in a heartbeat. As a matter of fact, I already have.

I didnt read all the replies (its late and I am waiting on baby to sleep so too tired to lol) but the way I see it is that we are in a new time and things are different and we are allowed to eat pork now......I mean come on....no Christian...that I know of...does sacrifices anymore.

As for homosexuality.....I personally dont think they should get married just bc God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve...  .

But then again I dont think anyone should be judging them at all.....its for God to judge and I am sure there are many many misinterpentations (sp) of the bible.

With that being said I also want to make it clean that I am not a homphobe either...what you do is your choice and I have no problem with it. It is personal not for me or in my religion and what you do is between you and God and who am I to say whats wrong from right that I dont know 100% for sure.

Also wanted to add...I voted homosexuality no and porkers yes....but I think with my opinion it should be both yes.
