im 16 and going to be a mommy...

hi. im 16 and just recently found out tht im gonna be a mom. we found out about my pregnancy when i was 24 weeks and 4 days (6 months) it was a really big shock because i was on the Depo shot and had continued doing thr shots while pregnat. and its a boy ( his name is going to be Jeremy Jay) the doctors didnt even notice tht i was pregnat when i had check ups. weird huh? and im 8 months this friday   but im kinda scared about parenting and the labor. and i was hoping tht i cld find some people on here to talk about being pregnat with. cause i've been feeling down the closer i get to my due date ( which is october 6th) because i feel like im not going to be a good mom. i do have complete support from family and the dad of the baby. but hopefully i can get through this and feel better about everything.

Well congrats on being PREGNANT, just stay in school and work really hard to make sure that your baby is taken care of.

Well congrats & welcome to BG. This is a good place for advice or anything. That is crazy they didn't know you were pregnant. I was on depo but stopped it because one day I got the injection and had a seizure as soon as I got it. Then shortly after became pregnant.

They didn't give you a pregnancy test when you went in for your shot? Weird. I get one every single time, I thought that was standard. Meh.


Anyways, it's going to be hard, very very hard. Nothing will be the same in your life. It doesn't ever go back to normal. That being said, it's all more than worth it. It's doable. Stay in school, get a job, and do the best you can for that baby.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that was seriously annoyed by that spelling.

I never had to take a pregnancy test every time I got my shot.
