Make my own dress

Does anyone sew? I really want to make my own dress in this type of cut and style! I have an idea of how I think I could do it but I would like some tips and advice if anyone has any!



I was thinking of just to obviously make a pattern the way I want it to look and then sew with elastic the waist of it to make it bunch once I cut it all out and sew around the edges and all that.

I love that style/print!

I will post another picture later on today. It is a little longer then how I have it rolled up. I think I'm going to wear it to a wedding shower in a few weeks. It is a little more gathered under my boobs as well.
