bleeding??

I am 32 weeks today i have been having bright red bleeding (not a lot) for the past couple days and also been really randomly nauseous. I had a dr appt today and she didnt seem too concerned. Has anyone had this issue?? Never had bleeding with my other pregnancies other than the first trimester.

how much are we talking? is it after intercourse? or after a vaginal exam? What exactly did you say to the doctor, because this seems concerning to me. I would question previa or abruption and maybe dilation - none of which are good

No it wasnt after an exam or sex..just randomly i got up to pee and noticed it. I told her i was having bright red random bleeding and she said come back if theres a lot. All my kids have been 39 weeks +

hmm that doesn't sound good. did your doctor do a cervical exam or ultrasound?

Btw my last pregnancy i dilated starting at 34 weeks. He will be a year this friday.

oh yeah so did I and I went to term too. I would be more concerned about issues with the placenta either previa (usually painless) or an abruption (usually a constant pain, but not always)

No theres no pain and no she didn't do an exam..i actually really dont like this hospital its a military hospital

That sounds strange, maybe you could see another doctor and get there opinion also? I would for peace of mind.

same here. bright red bleeding is not normal in 3rd trimester unless you are in active labor

Smurf..also i think shes dropping ive had a lot more pressure lately.

I will call in the morning if it keeps happening..thanks guys.
