Your room is across the hall from your 2 year olds room.
You put one of those plastic things that go over the door knob (so your LO can't open the door) on the inside of their door so they cant get out of their room when they wake up.
Your LO is fully potty trained and can't get to the bathroom.

Then you go to your room and sleep easy because you have successfully trapped your kid in their room. lol

I think it's neglect and that child needs to be able to wake their parents up.

Honestly, I think that is wrong if they aren't in diapers anymore and need to use the bathroom. I can understand not wanting them roaming around in the middle of the night but I would try and put gates up so they could only get to the bathroom and nowhere else.

Don't get mad if they piss the bed...
