I've been the cheater and I've been cheated on.
I got the hell out of both of those relationships.

Should he be the one to tell you or would you look...or what if someone else told you?

Yupp neither one is right...if you can do that...I completely agree...but would you ever be with a cheater?? Or expect someone to be with you cause they feel differently about you or you then?!

I was with my ex husband for 7 years, had two kids with him, we had everything we could ask for... He got away with cheating a few times. He told me about it.. We finally seperated and divorced because it ate away at my heart and my mind... He will admit now that he loved me but he never loved me like a.husband should. If he did he never woupd have done that to me.
My SO has been gone for a year, i have been with him for 19 days out of that year... I dont cheat on him, i dont think about cheating on him, he is the one i want and i care to much to risk loosing that.

I would never stay with somebody that cheated on me.
Nor would I ever expect somebody to stay with me if I cheated (even though he wanted to stay with me and "work things out", obviously something in the relationship was missing since I felt the need to cheat on him in the first place).

I fully believe that if somebody cheated in a past relationship, that does not mean they'll cheat in every relationship.

Of course it's easier said than done. But when it comes to MY family, and the well being of my children, there are things I know I will not stand for. I will not sit around and allow a man to place me or my children on a back burner so he can go smurf, love, or whatever the hell with another woman. Period. We come first, and if he can't do that, he isn't worth being with.

Yes I would and I would try my best for my children not to find out about it.

Honestly, I think it depends on what kind of "with someone else" it was.

If it was a drunken encounter or a random hookup I would rather not know.

If it was a affair with a relationship attached to it...yea I would want to know.

Hell yes, I would want to know. My son doesn't need to find out about it.

Yeah, I'd want to know. I've been cheated on before, and it sucks, and it hurts, and at the time I wished the whole thing would jsut go away... but now, in retrospect, I'm glad I knew. We weren't together for that long, but still...

if they will cheat on you they don't love you the way you deserve to be loved, they don't respect you, and they don't care about your feelings.

i stayed for a while, but i questioned everything. every time he was out i wondered if he was cheating. for my own sanity and self respect i left. it was hard we had a home, and everything together(lucky no kids). but, i deserved more and i found it.
