How to encourage friends to stop comparing?

My daughter will be 2 in less than a month, but has to vocabulary and speech of the average 4 year old. I am extremely proud of this but do not brag, except to her grandparents.

I have 2 friends, both have boys. 1 is 21 months the other is 28 months. Both their moms constantly compare their sons to my daughter. One actually took her son to be evaluated for speech delays.

I've tried to explain my daughter was just an early talker. Boys develop speech slower. Etc. Nothing works, and I feel like I'm starting to be resented.

Boys generally develop slower than girls. I would just give them the comparison like, are we the exact same people? No so why would you expect our children to be the exact same?

Believe me I know how you feel ! I have a few friends that have girls almost the same age as mine! It's so annoying they make it seem like we are In some type of competition ! So annoying! I just ignore it , people always get offensive over somthing ridiculous. I hate how they make it seem like we're in some type of smarter child comparison ! Lol it's kinda childish but maybe theyll realize one day ! Just be proud and ignore them
