rock and a hard place

okay, so both DH and i are ready for a second baby and both really want it, we found out that i have the begginig stages of rheumatoid arthritis(sp?) in my back, and we want to have #2(maybe 3) before i get to bad so i can take care of my babies... but at the same time were not ready for another kid(money wise)... i mean we have a good home and can take care of our kid no problem but im gettin out of the military coz of my sons medical issues, and im just not sure... its like we want it, and were ready, but were not ready... im not asking questions, just kinda writing. but if anyone knows how to clear my mind, i'd love the advice  lol.

From what i've heard, people are rarely financially ready for a baby. Theres very rarely a "perfect" time for the next one, or for the first one.
But if you're going to really struggle, i would suggest waiting. It kind of depends on how unready you are.

im not totallyfinancially ready for a second baby either, but he'll be here in a couple months! it really depends how much it will affect your financial situation. you may find that cutting bck on things that aren't necessities will give you enough money that you feel comfortable having another baby. just talk a lot and write out money plans and see where that gets you. good luck!

I agree with Orions Mommy , when it comes to money.
I would be more concerned about your son and his health. I don't know what his health issuses are but maybe wait until he is better and you and your hubby can try for your babies?? I duno just thinking out loud.  

This may not be the best advice, but I'd say...don't think so hard about it. You know that you both want more babies. You know that you are "ready" for another baby. You know that you want them before you can't physically take care of them.

What more do you need to know, really? Sounds like you already have an answer to me!  

well theres alot more outside influinces, i mean yes we "can"afford another child, and we both want one, but were moving to hawaii in december. were gonna wait to see what our money is like in hawaii(were both military thats why were going there) plus my son will be 1 year old.

edit- (fogot to put in my first post) we decided im gettin implanon, but im scared that will make it real hard to get pregnant. i think thats why im thinkin so much about it right now.
