Sooo ladies...

HOw long did you wait until you had sex again?

4 weeks. I had a couple of stitches and that's how long it takes for them to heal. We were very careful though and used lots of KY. It actually wasn't that bad at all and the second time (a couple days later) it wasn't even uncomfortable at all.

Will my 3 girls I waited 5-6 weeks. With my son its only been 2 weeks but OMG it feels like MONTHS LMAO!!! TMI I know HAHAHA!!

I got 2 stiches also BUT I havent had ANY pain at all. I never even took any pain meds since I had him. I was cleaning house only 4 days after having Tyler LOL. Hubby thought I was nuts but I feel GREAT and not like I just had a baby HAHAHA

Lol well i cant wait that long and i dont really care what anyone says i waited only about 2 weeks.

I waited 7 weeks because I was really just not in the mood, and it hurt like a b*tch for me!! Ugh, that was worse than thechildbirth itself.

Well here is the thing. I am bleeding a little maybe a panty liner type of bleeding and I am almost 2 weeks pp I WALKED out litterally the 2nd day after birth, we went home then too. After birth, I peed and walked to the bathroom.. NO SERIOUSLY, it was like I just went in had a baby and walked right on out. I DID, and now I am jogging and all sorts of things but I am DYING to have sex again... I am a major horn ball and my hubs is a little scared , but I have NO pain at all and everything is working just fine.. I even shaved all down there..

So should we wait or try?

I would def. wait another week or so, make sure all the stiches are gone, otherwise once you are confortable, go ahead.

I waited 3 weeks... I had no stiches but tore twice but I never felt that.. I was just sore from pushing so hard.. my coochie wasn't really sore it was more my bottom. but I had sex at 3 weeks and had stopped bleeding and it didn't hurt at all

I am bad I know but I couldn't wait past two weeks. I never had any pain and had very few stitches. Most the books I read about pregnancy said you could do it whenever you felt comfortable and at the time I felt comfortable. The nurses at the hospital called me Super Mom because I pushed her our and was ready to get moving again I had no pain and never complained about anything. I was up and walking around like 12 hours after she was born and would've been moving sooner had they allowed me off the iv sooner.

Monday will make 8 weeks since baby was born and we still haven't had sex. But it's mainly b/c I'm still bleeding!!  

I'd LOVE to have sex right NOW! Hahaha, I'm 3 weeks post partum on Saturday and my husband and I have been major horn balls, making out every chance we get and the only thing holding me back is that I'm bleeding and I'm paranoid because you can DIE if your uterus isn't healed completely. How you ask? Apparently, if the place where the placenta was attatched to you hasn't healed, having sex prematurely could force air into your uterus, into the wound from the placenta, up into your arteries and into your heart. It's called an embolism. After all the pain our cooches went through, you'd think we would be swearing off sex for the next 10 years! Hormones I tell you!

i had to wait the full 6 weeks. we tried having sex at 5 weeks but as soon as the tip was going in girl i told him STOP! lol it hurt me and since i got stitches thats the only part that was hurting me. SO i decided to wait till i went for my 6 week check up. when i went the Dr. said there was a tiny part that hadnt healed yet but everything else looked good. my stitches had dissolved and i was ready to have sex and do whatever i wanted. He put some stuff called silver nitrate on the part that hadnt healed and boy did that burn! it was like a stinging sensation. he just told me to wait about 2 or 3 days before i had sex. so i had sex 2 days later and it didnt hurt me.

Wow I didn't know that. Most of the books I read said you could have sex once you felt up to it. So how long do I have to live now? haha
