Medical Ids

Where did you get your childs medical ID? (whether it be bracelet or necklace)

I want to get one for Faith. She's 4.5. I dont know that i could get her to wear a bracelet and i'm having a hard time finding a necklace that will fit her full name in one line. Her last name is 13 letters >.<

But I don't know that I can get her to wear it. Her daddy is military and she doesn't wear the dog tag he had engraved for her because it makes her sad. (hes gone a lot) .. They are all sooo expensive too.

Any ideas!? Also were there any you got that were complete crap??

D is allergic to amoxicillin and I never got her one. My brother was allergic to any thing with cillin in it and he never had one. But maybe you can have her help you pick out the colors and stuff and explain to her why it is important she wear it.

I really only want one now because she's on medication and she starts K next year and I would really like her to have one with the medication and her Special Needs info on it.

Ebay honestly has TONS of different styles.

I get mine from medical I'd store and allermates ( but those are all allergy) He has the slider wrist bands

I got mine from American id bracelets i have a three year old so we wear the bracelet. I paid an arm and a leg for the darn thing but we've had it almost a year and its still in good condition and it hasn't left her wrist since we got it. i also found a cheaper one from sticky jewlery and you can get a metal thing that slides on the bracelet and you can get the bracelets its a really simple id bracelet but maybe getting a few of the actual bracelet part i think they are under ten dollars a piece i think maybe more like five and let her pick which color she wants to wear. My daughter barely notices it she's had it on so long... she will eventually get used to them.
