My mom had 3 kids, a full time job, child support for 1 child & couldn't live comfortably ever. Eventually we had to seek assistance such as foodstamps just to be able to eat

About 1300 a month, and I'd say I'm managing. I have a 2br, 2bath, no CS but I am trying to get it. I pay for daycare and I get FS.
I only have one child.

I'm not single but I am the only one with a job right now. I make about $700 a month & I have one baby. We live with SO's dad since we obviously can't afford a place right now.. My paychecks are just for diapers, gas & whatever else we have to buy, we usually don't have anything extra after grocery shopping. It sucks but I only hope my SO will graduate in May & get a decent job, then I can go back to school cause living like this sucks!

It was   there wasn't much me, my sister & brother could do but we did yard work for people to be able to buy school supplies & to be able to buy my little brothers medications. Rent was $550-600 a month for a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom(child services said me & my sister could share a room but that my little brother had to have his own) my mom made $12 an hour plus overtime but utilities for all 4 of us ran about 300+ each month

I have one and one on the way. Same dad, but child support is (obviously) only ordered for our oldest, since we never married. I receive it... sometimes. Not a lot, though.

I work various jobs, my income is way below poverty line, though. I live with just LO in income based housing. It sucks, and it's going to suck, but I have a very supportive family and group of friends, so when I get my masters degree, with all the money saving tricks I've learned (AKA not living the high life) we'll be fine.

Nope. I don't live comfortably at all. I make $ 460.00 a month at my job, and get $ 438.00 a month in ssi for my daughter. So $ 900.00 a month. I have one child, live on my own. I'm supposed to get $400.00 in CS, but the loser does not pay.
