*Period and Ovulation...*

So, I had my normal period this month lasting 4-5 days. I had a three day break, and then started again!? The second time around (for the last 3 days) I've had brown blood instead of the usual red color. My question is, if hubby and I are TTC, which 'period' should I count my ovulation days from? I'm a really regular 30 day cycle, and 14-15 day ovulation cycle. I just don't get it. I don't think this second 'period' would be implantation bleeding - or could it be? *Confused*

Anything is possible but if you are looking for ovulation I would check things like cervical fluid. You can't ever be too sure just counting days from your period. Good luck to you.

Sounds to me like a prolonged period. That happens to me quite often, where i will bleed, stop, then bleed again for a few days, then it goes away. I would definatley go 14 days from the start of your period when calculating your ovulation days.
