Nickname?

What do you ladies think of Isabelle but called Libby as a nickname?

I don't get Libby out of Isabelle. My coworker just named her daughter Libby  

I would just name her Libby. I don't associate Isabelle with Libby.

I don't get Libby from Isabelle either

I like either names by themselves!  

i think you can choose whatever nickname for your child that you want even if it doesnt associate with their name

My daughter is Sophia, and I generally call her stinky. lol

I don't see the connection.

but really you can call your child whatever you want. i think Liberty is a pretty name that Libby would be a nickname for.

I think izzy would be a nice nick name I know it doesn't look nice lol but I know loads of isabellas with the nickname izzy

I get the connection. Isabelle is from Elizabeth and Libby is a common nickname for it. I think it works.

I was thinking this too! I looked it up on http://www.nameberry.com and it says they are connected.
