family drama (rant)

well my aunt is also pregnant shes like 2 months farther along than me and when ever i say something about how my pregnancy is going she has to top it with something about hers. i mean im happy for her but damn . this is my first and her 3rd its a big deal to me too and she doesnt have to one up me everytime i speak just cuz she wants attention. i honestly dont even understand why she keeps having kids like i said she has 2 and 1 on the way and her SO has 2 and neither one of them pay smurfing attention to the ones they have... and they have only been together for 7 months and she got pregnant on purpose shes almost 6 months pregnant!!!

You have a right to be upset, some people are just like that, they need to be the center of attention, just ignore her if possible, Chin up and hope all goes well with you, congrats to you also~!~

i don't know exactly what's being said, but maybe she's just relating and sympathizing?
like i said, i'm not sure what's being said or the conversations, but that could be a possibility.

Who are you to say who it's a bigger deal for? She is also growing life inside her, even if it was her 30th kid. Grow up.

one time was when my baby bump finally popped so i was showing someone in our family and she has to come over and be like thats nothing look at this.

She's a 1 upper! Just ignore it and enjoy your pregnancy.

I think any pregnancy is a big deal. Theres no need to one up anyone though with it. Sometimes people just think's the world revolves around them. Have you tried to talk to her and tell her how you are feeling.

I dont think you are being selfish so the ones that are telling her to grow up shouldnt even comment.

Anyway, this is your first it is new to you so I can see where you want the attention of being a new mommy. I can also understand that you feel she is taking your spot light. But it sounds like she was pregnant first either way. I'd try to work it out

Try not to worry about it too much. You get pregnant to have a baby, not a pregnancy. Don't waste your time worrying about her

every pregnancy is different, even within the same person. maybe she HASN'T felt some of this before.

Sounds like you're both attention whores. You aren't the first to be pregnant and you sure as hell wont be the last.

Wow my third child is just as important as everyone else's.

Ive been pregnant 3 times before this pregnancy and every time its a new experience for me. Just bc its your first doesnt make it a better experience then mines. IJS

my aunts one of thoes ppl who always have their heads stuck up their ass she doesnt care how she makes anyone elts feel. i mean im happy for her to but i never get to feel like its my turn to share with our family cuz she is father along than me so she always has more to share it seems.
