There's this awesome movie Tideland and the girl in it is named Jeliza Rose...
Is Jeliza actually a name or did they make it up?!

I don't think so. Sounds made up.

I googled it and it didn't come up..

If its pronounced to rhyme with Eliza, I don't think its a terrible name though. I wouldn't use it myself, but its not awful as far as made up names go...

If its Je-lee-zuh, then its awful.. lol..

But I'm not against made up names as long as they don't sound terrible (to me).. A couple of my favorite names back in the day were Kalyssa and Zenna. (zen-nuh) I wasn't the first to make them up (there are others with those names), but they're still made up names. lol.

I dont know but it's kind of awful. Reminds me of jealous.

LOL.. I had a friend who was Determined to name her first daughter Jealousy.

Of course, she said that shortly before she started acting really strange and they realized that she was schizophrenic.. so... yeah, maybe misfiring neurons had something to do with that...

It actually suits the girl in the movie very well.
