My baby's father is Italian (and Spanish) so we wanted to incorporate an Italian name as well. We chose Giana for Hailey's middle name. I'm obsessed with the supermodel Gia Carangi but Hailey Gia didn't sound right so we want with Giana, pronouncing it Gi-Ah-Nuh even though the real Italian pronunciation is John-uh.

Emiliana is a very old name here, and very uncommon.
Gianna should be spelled with two n's and Gia-nn-uh is the right pronunciation
Also:

Chiara (Kee-AR-uh)
Silvia
Martina
Marta
Fabiana

It's okay if you like it spelled with two n's, but it can also be spelled with one.. Also the authentic pronunciation IS John-uh.
