i meant the part of going with him to pick up his kid was freaking stupid. personally, if any "romantic interest" was going to be around my child, i'd want to know them first. hell, even "friends" of her dad that were going to be around my kid alot while she was with her dad. i'd want to meet them first and know who is going to be around my child. i think it's pretty stupid that you're just making judgements on this woman instead of maybe introducing yourself to her.
if you were in her shoes, can you REALLY tell me you wouldn't be concerned? come on.

BD has gone through 3 girls in the span of a couple of months, each girl he thought was "the one" and he wanted to bring LO around! You know what? 2 pof them turned out to be huge skanks and one even stalked him and I and was SUPER creepy and stole his PS3. The third he wasn't even officially dating yet when he was talking about bringing LO around her and she "dumped" him a week after they started hanging out.

So, smurf yeah I'd be giving some chick the stink eye that BD is bringing around my child if he hasn't been dating her for a good long while AND if I haven't met her yet. That's disrespectful to be bringing a woman around another womans child with out having them meet first. IMO!

Me and BD have an agreement that we get to meet whomever will be around our child first.

I didn't have much of a choice, He'd been at his brother's house an hour from me the week before and on his way home called and told me to pack some stuff cause he wanted me to come stay with him for a few days and he'd bring me home after picking up his daughter

seems like he could have taken you home and THEN picked up his daughter. same amount of travel, so i don't see what the big deal there was.

Nope, he was taking his daughter to his brother's so she could see her uncle and new cousin  . If he would have been going back to his place then yeah, I would have been dropped off before he got her

It COULD be as simple as her not trusting the females hes had with their daughter in the past... Maybe it confused the little girl... Or maybe he goes through girls like dirty undies... Who knows. My ex goes thru so many girls and chooses each on of them of my daughter that hes lost his visitation rights. I dont think anyone is getting the whole story... Not even OP....as she hasnt known him long. Maybe OP should approach the ex and initiate a conversation and see how it goes.
