Anxiety Attack

I think I just had one.

My mom gave me a valium and my heart isnt racing anymore. She went to bed   I really wanted someone to stay with me since Ive never had it before.

I just feel like crying and crying. I wish someone was here with me.

Weird trick my therapist taught me, but massage your jugular vein. It helps me.

It will pass! I have struggled with anxiety off and on since I was like 9. It really really sucks, I'm sorry! try to stay on BG and stay distracted until you get tired. *hugs*

I feel like my heart is racing but when I put my hand to my chest it doesnt feel like it. Is that normal?

Will Valium put me to sleep?1

You will be fine. If you over think it then it tends to make it worse. The valium should help you sleep.

very normal. The sooner you find something other to focus on other than how out of sorts you feel the faster you will drowsy. I've taken ativan for anxiety but valium only once so im not totally sure. I just know that 2mg of ativan is potent and a .5mg is enough to take the edge off.

Yes. I know the feeling well. It will pass. Try to focus on something else, like a Youtube video or a TV show.
