update on baby that passed away. *triggers*

Well they had the funeral service, minus the body. They won't release the baby's body to the mom/dad.
Cause of death: suffocation.
I guess the mom was on one or coming down from her smurf & she had a previous accounts of putting blankets on her babies face "so they don't see the lights & go to sleep." So that's prolly what happened. The baby died with its mouth & eyes open & arms up.
 

She's being investigated now. & the autopsy report stated the baby was dead for 9 hours before they realized it.

Oh my god this is horrible.  

Nine hours? How the hell do you not realize your baby is dead for nine hours?  

What was his name, if you don't mind me asking? So I can keep him in my thoughts tonight.

This is smurfing horrible.. my heart is breaking.

I honestly have no idea.
I thought it was a girl, but then my sister's bf (babies uncle) was saying he, he he today.
It was my sister's friends baby. & her bf's cousin is the father's dad. Then her other 2 kids are my sister's bf's other cousin's kids. (Hope that made sense) (Jerry! Jerry! Jerry! Smurf.)

He said she was coming down from something (drugs) & was passed out for days. Days. So idk =( just awful. I hope she loses custody of her other kids & never has anymore kids.

The baby is in a better place. Some people shouldn't have kids.

Yeah me too.
Now I'm not so mad at my mom for saying, "the baby is prolly better off now." I was livid when she said that the other day..but now I kind of agree. =(

And for days why the smurf did someone not take the child. It was most likely starving and screaming.

aw this is so sad, that poor baby.
it must have been pretty bad suffocation for the arms to be out, etc

This isn't something that I would say normally... but they should sterilize that woman. Such a terrible thing to happen to such an innocent little person. My heart is breaking for that poor baby.

My DD is 2 months old so it hits close to home i could never ignore my child.

Well she lived w/ her mom. So idk.
She'll most likey get custody of them. I hope she's charged for this.
