the broken pot grieving project

posted 4th Aug '12
have you guys heard about doing it? DD was there when my grandma took her last breath on tuesday. she's been handling it ok but i still want to help her, obviously. a grief counselor showed me a book and in it, is the "broken pot project". you get as clay pot, break it against the ground, gather the pieces and on the inside ones your write how you feel or what you will miss about whomever. then glue it back together. on the outside pieces, you write words that got you through the grief process, or things you can do to help you.

i think DD will like doing it. i'll post pics tomorrow.

google "grieving process broken pot project" and it will bring up an example
