Recipe ideas needed!

I have a whole chicken(3 pounds) and a crock pot. Go!

Chicken cacciatore. For sure

Chicken noodle soup or chicken and dumplings.

So how would I handle the bones?

I would do chicken and dumplings... I always boil the chicken then take the meat off the bones.. Then cook it in the pot with the other stuff. Just bone it.... <-- thats sounds bad.

After it's cooked, let it cool a little and just pull all the meat off the bones. you can probably make a few meals with it. I always put the bones with the cooking juice a whole onion, carrot and celery stalk, boil it down, strain all the junk out, let it cool scrap the fat off the top and voila stock!
