breastfeeding..

i breastfed after my daughter was born. I only made 2 oz out o each breast every two hours. It stopped coming in after 2 weeks. I was told you could get it back if you pumped for 14 days..is that true?

I hardly made anything at all those 2 weeks i had milk  

i know that your milk can come back, even after not breastfeeding for months but idk if there is anything you can do to intentionally bring it back.

I've always heard the more u feed or pump the more ur milk will come in. I stopped my now almost 4 yr old at 3 mths on the boob cuz I thought she wasnt getting enough. I'm def gonna go longer this time wit the help of pumping. Try it, don't give up just yet cuz breast milk is the best 4 ur LO. Good luck!

my LO is 2 1/2 months now, so i dont know if its too late to try to get it back? or of its even worth it trying to get 4oz every two hours again..

i tried pumping every 15 minutes when i had it, and out of 2 hours, id get 2oz on each. i cried when i lost it. i wanted what was best for my baby :/

Sorry I did not see this earlier but yes it is completely possible to get your milk back. I know a woman who never had a child. adopted and induced her milk. She breastfed her adopted baby for two years. It can happen but it takes a lot of work.
