Sickness-HELP
posted 15th May
I am 3 months with my 3rd child and I never before have gotten sick, I am not getting morning sickness but by the end of the work day around 4 or 5 pm, I start to get very naseaus. To the point where my ears are ringing and I can not bear it anymore. I have a 30 min drive home and usually I have to pull over a few times. Does anyone know what this is or ways to help it? I havent been to a doctor yet I am waiting on Medicaid to process. I really need help!
Thank you

Are you hungry when you get sick? An empty stomach always made me nauseated. Try keeping a pack of crackers with you to eat when you feel that way. Other than that, most of the nausea medicines make you very sleepy, so I probably wouldn't take them when I have to drive 30 minutes away.

crackers are a good idea..try to keep eating a couple little meals and drink a lot. I spend most of my first 3 months in the bathroom..I was sick all day long.
My doctor told me to: -eat crackers
-eat several small, healthy meals throughout the da
-avoid greasy or fried foods and spicy foods
-sip carbonated water when you begin to feel nauseated
-drink spearmint or peppermint tea or lemonade
you can also try Vitamin B6, Lemon drops or Dramamine

Like you, I am sick alot. I find that dry toast or crackers works wonders for me, also staying hydrated is very important but don't drink to fast...nice slow sips are the trick!
