Running?

How skinny do you have to be before you can go jogging outside?

You don't need to be skinny to go jogging outside.

It doesn't bother me to see an overweight person running. But if that's the case whenever you feel comfortable.

When I started running I was heavier than that. I started running 3-5 miles a day and got down to 170 in a short time, and kept going to my goal weight. If I was so concerned about what other people thought I would probably still be huge, maybe even bigger. Honestly when I see heavy people running the last thing I'm thinking is omg look at all that fat, instead I smile and think good for you for taking care of your health. If you want to run, do it, don't let anything stop you.

Based on what you posted above, I am your size. I ran my first race on my birthday a few weeks ago. There were people fatter and thinner. Either way, I don't have to see them again and it felt amazing to do it.

I started off with couch to 5k-- you should give it a shot.

I went jogging outside when I was 230 lbs and got down to 155 cuz I pushed thru the embarrassing stage. At least you're doing something. No one ever looks at someone jogging and says "They look too big to run, they should not be jogging". If they even think anything at all I'm sure it's "Good for them." Just sayin ;-)

Couldn't have stated that better.
