we were too far away from everyone to get anything. my MIL sent us a teething bunny and DHs aunt sent a couple outfits.
my parents brought a bunch of clothes and sleepsacks when they flew in.

If you like the stripes you should look into Girasol. They have the prettiest colorways.
And there's a co-op that does them so you can get em for a really good price.
Getting wraps used on babywearing swaps is also great for deals, and nice because you can get them already broken in so their already soft and floppy. Cotton (and hemp, not sure about the other fibers) can feel like burlap new (though brand new cotton gira's aren't too bad). Braiding also helps to break them in.
