went to the doctors..

and im 37 weeks and 4 days. i went because i havent been feeling good i feel sick and have headaches and they said i have protein in my urine & its def. not a uti but my blood pressure is fine so i have to do the 24 hour urine thing & then tomorrow when i bring it back there gunna do blood tests she said i could have preclampsia .. MY QUESTION IS.. is that possible? for them to just be noticing this? and for my BP to be normal but i JUST stating havign protein in my urinee? also... she mentioned it because my legs and feet are all the sudden swollen

I was under the impression that preeclampsia was based around your blood pressure being too high.. never have i heard of it being just associated with protein in your urine and swollen feet. Now that the weather is getting warmer and what not it will be common for your feet to be more swollen anyways not to mention swollen feet is something that happens in pregnancy period.. If your blood pressure isn't up and is completly normal.. i really wouldn't stress too much..

see thats what i was thinking i think it was there excuse of sending me on my way .. =/

preeclampsia can occur late in a pregnancy and it does involve protein in your urine and swelling of normally your face and hands. I have massive swelling in my feet so I have been doing some net surfing to find out as much as I can about Pre just in case I do develop it in my later months..I think this site might be able to help.
