An All in two or Hybrid diaper, the "insert" goes on top and that's what touches baby's skin. You change that and keep the shell with these.

With the pocket diaper, the insert goes on the inside, so it goes on and off like a disposable diaper. One use, one wash.

AI2s are snap in.
I have a mama-made fitted that has a snap-in liner, though.

It seems that most fitteds are doing the snap in soakers now.
Really helps with the drying time (as opposed to the fitteds with sewn in soakers).

Fitteds with snap in soakers are definitely my favorite style of diaper. especially hybrid fitteds, they have a hidden layer of fleece under the outer fabric (and either cv or obv on the inside) and work really well without having to use a cover.
Some people even use them overnight without a cover.

I have another WAHM that does CV inners, but not snap-in liners, they're removeable.


They stay sooo dry, I'm not sure if they have a hidden layer of fleece, though.
