I was never depressed about it.
Which procedure did you have done? I had the Essure, I cramped and was in pain for about 7 months. I almost tossed myself under a bus. lol

I got my tubes tied when my daughter was 10 weeks old. As soon as I came home, my husband was helping me to the bed..I look up & see our daughter in her swing & I completely lost it! I cried for like an hour! Hubby freaked out cuz he thought I was in pain. I felt like who I was, was taken from me. I was a woman who could have beautiful children & no longer did I have that ability. I was crushed! But I started to heal & was able to get around the house on my own. That feeling started to go away. It did take some time but it did. Now I dont have to worry bout getting pregnant again & can have lots of fun with the hubby! Try a heating pad for the cramps.

I can't say i regret having it done...but i do...
I had no choice in the matter. I was told that I was at a higher risk for each pregnancy that happens. I didn't really want it done, but my husband and I both said it was for the best. I've had 6 pregnancies and out of those 6, only 2 have made it through. So, we are done. When the time comes and we want more, I will most likely foster care or adopt.

I had mine done and I don't regret it. To be honest I am happy that I don't have to worry about birthcontrol. I have a 9.5yr old son and my 4.5 month old daughter. My little family is complete.

I'm greatly considering having mine done and I regret it already!!! I've also heard that there's a high possibility of very painful cramps afterwards, is that true?
