I believe a homegoing is a celebration sort of like a funeral. But the term is used by many Christians instead of Funeral to celebrate their loved ones going home to be with the Lord.

If you read her previous posts, she has lost some family and her baby.

So sorry for your losses OP and remember they're happy and rejoicing where every sadness will be wiped away.
