so Alex ((my 1st born lol) had 3 toes removed on monday! the lil guy is doing good! but very drug lol. he gets his stiches out next thursday.

tryed to get a pic of his paw but its still was hurting him so im gonna wait till sunday. it looks really bad right now but its healing. and as soon as his hair grows back he'll look like his normal self. hes walking a lil funny still but once he gets use to it he'll be running afterthe dogs again.pray for NO INFECTION!

Btw im sure ur wondering Y he had 3 toes removed. he was declawed..4 TIMES! the vet wasnt getting it all..hekept chewing on it..his bone started to come out of his Thum..he got an infection..and lost 3 toes. =[

aww, bless his heart... i've never gotten a cat declawed but gosh that seems like a lot to go through!! poor little guy!! he is awfully pretty though... my cat of 10 yrs died in my parents house fire last year   and i will always make sure Aidan knows he had a big sister too!! lol!!

GIZZMO!! How cute!! The is Lady... we had her for awhile but the apartment nazi's around here decided they wanted a non-refundable carpet deposit of $1,200 so we had to find another home for her...

Aww I hope he feels better. I worked at a vet clinic and cats getting declawed is hard for them to go through so give him a few extra kisses!

70% of in doorcats are declawed. he is an indoor cat. they dont need front claws.i didnt take him to get it done anywasy..i wasnt even with nick when they got it done.nicks mom is a ceep fuck and took him to a vet who doesnt care about animals and only cares about getting the money.

I know what is done is done. I am saying that the process is horrible, they dont just remove claws, it would be like you having your fingers amputated at the knuckle. It causes extreme pain even when it is done right. And its bullshit that 70% of indoor cats are declawed. I wasnt trying to be rude, I was just saying I hope you learned your lesson for the future. Many many vets will not even declaw cats in their clinics becuase it is so horrific, and the animal rescue group I volunteer with will not adopt out to anyone that wants to declaw cats. Just an FYI.

Oh and i wasnt saying YOU did it, jsut hoping that now that you saw what can happen you wont do it in the future.

um im getting all my in door cats declawed. if u dont like it..sry. cry about it i guess. and no its not ive seen it be done at my vets office..3 of my cats got it done..they let me watch and they take out the wholenail. the cats are on pain meds after that..alex is already runing around. he feels fine. if not better. it dodnt bother any of my cats..they dont even seem to know they are gone. its a safe thing as long as u go to a vet who knows how to do it. the vet they went to didnt do it right. thats why he had problems. but all 15 of my aunt cats are declawed..3 of mine..all 5 of my besties cats..nicks 2 cats..and my grandmas cat..only ONE had problems. and that was cuz the vet didnt know what she was doing. and kim wanted to be cheep. so dont bitch at me becuz alex had problems..its not like he died and he is in NO pain..beside..if I didnt take him in when it got that bad he would have lost his whole paw. ((Kim..nicks mom...wasnt gonna take him in)) i spent $300 i saved up for the baby to pay for Alex.

Hey, you can do what you want, I just think it horrific. You obvisouly think you know everything and that is fine....I just erally feel sorry for any future cats you have. I have 3 indoor only cats that all have their claws, and *gasp* none of them scratch my furniture becuase I have trained them not to. They dont just remove the claw by the way, the amputate half the bone that goes through the paw. Read the links.
