Natural Remedies

I have second degree burns all over my face and I was wondering if anyone knows any natural remedies that might help. Only thing I can think of is Aloe.

Vinegar is said to take the sting out.

Ive heard honey, oatmeal can help with the itching when it begins to heal, maybe tea bags, I`ve even heard milk can help to relieve the pain!

vinegar could work.

what did you do?  

see if you can find a bottle of witch hazel...my sister and mom burn to a crisp every summer that stuff works awesome...they make it with aloe or lidocane too i believe. I think banana boat puts a good one out.

If you do vinegar don't open your eyes for 10-15 min. I did that for a sunburn and the fumes burned the ish out of my eyes.

Breastmilk works wonders for everything! I've heard that mustard is good for burns.

Breastmilk if you have it - if not, vinegar will take out the sting...then put PURE aloe on it (the only place I could find PURE aloe is CVS.) Most aloe's have alcohol in them...which is bad...My husband had 3rd degree sunburn with bubbles and everything (it was sooooooo awful! His entire back, shoulders and upper chest.) and we had to get pure aloe or he would've been in a world of hurt.

We were in a car accident yesterday and I was on the passenger side and the air bag blew up in my face. Then to top it off we were outside in the Florida sun for another hour after that. I went to the hospital but since I'm breastfeeding my options are limited.

Oh if you are BFing make a paste with that and baking soda!

Is their a certain amount of each I should put?

No it just needs to be a paste-like consistency that wont drip off your face but is wet enough to stick.
