i quit cold turkey when i found out i was pregnant. it sucked   i just tried to avoid going near people who smoked or at least going somewhere else while people smoke so it wasn't right in my face. i went through so much gum though, it was the only way to calm my nerves.

I just told myself the day I found out I was pregnant that every cigarette I had was harming my baby. I quit that day and never had another. Everyone is different tho. I would ask your doctor for some advice. Good luck momma!

I'm almost 12 weeks and its soooo hard! Ill try cold Turkey and I wanna kill everyone and if I try cutting back slowly it just ends up being me smoking just as much as I was before. I'm trying but like you said, I feel violent. It wouldn't bother me so much if my two kids would be angels for a few days right when I put the cigs down but that's when everything seems to go wrong and they act the worst. So ill go smoke to avoid getting too angry over things that they do. I'm gonna have to suck it up and get alot of gum and carrot sticks to suck on or something. Not only is it bad for me and the baby but I'm tired of not being able to walk up stairs without losing my breath. Good luck to you!

That's completely how I feel. I just wanna cry over it ske days. I think it'd be a lot easier in a smoke free environment. But everyone smokes including my grandpa with lung cancer. I just wanna hide on a island for a few weeks lol good luck to you top

they may be expensive, but when compared to how much you spend on cigs in a year, it's not bad. not to mention they aren't bad for the baby. my fiance smokes and we live together it was hard to quit but if it's important to you, you'll find a way.
