court stuff

So BD filed for joint custody. ANd we wnet to mediation and it did not work. So the mediator closed our "case"with him. Well I got 2 diffrent letters in the mail.
1st- Redivision order- For reasons deemed sufficient, the above enttitled and numbered cause of action is hearby redivised to a district judge.
dose that mean court?we were told we would just be sent to a diffrent mediator.

2nd- notice of judge assinment- due to an order of the courtin the above refrernced cause, the case has been reassined from the honorable C*** G***30th, to the honorable W**** C B*****.
i am pretty sure the second preson in this one is a judge and one of the biggest in town.

what do these mean?

if mediation did not work u have to go to court and the judge will decide on what happeneds. My SO and his ex wife went threw this.

Yes the first one sounds like you will be going to court to decide and the second is just letting you know who your judge is. It was probably assigned to the first judge and for some reason it was switched no big deal

The court is way backed up and my lawer told me it could take up to e year before we even hear anything. And we were both told we would probley go to a few mediatiors so this is a shock lol

Well know I want to know how long it will take till our court date. We have things almost worked out ourselfs. I told him he just needs to go stop it and have our plan filled but no he said it will be droped when we file our plan but who knows when that will be. the court date could be before we get everything worked out
