3D/4D ultrasound

I'm in my 28th week and I wanted to get a 3D/4D elective ultrasound but didn't want it to be too early. At what week is the best time to get one done?

If you have gotten them done and have pix that would be great too    !

I was 30 weeks

oh edited to add this one:
that one was done at 19 weeks so its never to early, but if you wait too long the baby will be al squished in the pic and you won't be able to see him/her as clearly

I did Arieannas at 28 weeks and it was PERFECT! They actually recommend that time....26-34 or so. When I did one at 36 Arieanna was so big u couldnt see her face at all! 28 weeks was awesome tho and she looks exactly the same! Let me grab the pic for u!

28 weeks

my step mom is 21, almost 22 weeks, and they got one done yesterday. they also had one done at 19 or 20 weeks and the pics looked fine. :]

I had one with my first child at 27 weeks and a couple days and it was GREAT! you could see her fat lil face and i loved every second of it!

I got mine done at 30 weeks! They're in my albums if you want to look .

I was 24 weeks when i had mine done they turned out wonderfull! I am going back to get my 3rd trimester done which im gonna wait untill 33 weeks cause i heard if you wait too long its hard to get a clear imagine they will look smushed lol

i'm having mine tomorrow and i'm 29 weeks!! they said that drinking water for the entire week before hand as much as u can will give u clear pictures which turn out the best. i dont think the office i'm going to does them before 26 weeks. im so excited!!!!

28-32 weeks is when they recommend you getting them done. My doctor's office did one at 27 weeks and it turned out very well!

27w3d. I would have waited another couple of weeks. Hindsight is always 20/20... K.

i say that the 30week pics come out best but i just had got another on tues at my dr and it lookd the same i think mine didnt come out great becuase his punk a$$ wants to hide his face cuz the rest of his body looked great!! i go tmine done at 27 weeks tho!

they say 27-32 bcuz after there isnt much room!!

The place where I am going suggests between 27-30 weeks as the "optimal" time
Due to our schedules and such we are going in week 30, I hope she isn't too snug in there because I want to make sure that she is still a she!
