re: 3D/4D ultrasound

Oh yea, I had a medical one at 36 weeks and Arie was so far down my Va-Jay Jay, I couldnt even see her face....everything from neck up tho was horribly smushed lol!

mine are in my album!! they came out desent you can tell its a boy and hes a baby lol his face is just coverd by his arm u can see his foot and fingers!!! go look we could see his dads nose and cheeks

I have been going since 26 weeks...today is our 4th attempt. We have yet to see our little girl's face because she is hiding it against my back...we get really good shots of her ears, butt, hands, etc...just none of her face. Today, I am 32 weeks 3 days. The ultrasound tech told me that they just did a 39 week lady, she showed us th pictures and they were great! but it all depends on baby's position.

whoa 39 weeks i think thatwas a waste lol she gets to see her anyways in a few days lol (cheater lol)

i had mine done at 28 weeks! pics are in my album.

i am haveing one done next thursday. i will be 30 weeks 5 days. i can't wait, i am so ready to see what she looks like!!

I had mine done at 27 weeks 3days and they turned out great! I do wish I could get one now- being that she's put on more baby fat, but o-well. We got it done then because we still hadn't been able to tell her sex. Check out my pics from my profile.

I had mine done at 21 weeks. I thought it came out great plus I was able to watch her little actions that she does while she is inside. It was cute getting a chance to see what she does in there LOL. She was playing with her toes and making faces. I wanted to do mine a little earlier for that purpose. I might get one later just for facial close ups but before she gets too big where her face is all smooshy.

I'm lucky enough to have monthly u/s (even though I'm not high risk), and I love seeing how things are progressing. The 3D/4D pics are beautiful... the first look at my little prince's face...

I've heard that for the "early peak" you should go between 18-24 weeks and for facial features it's best to go around 28-34 weeks. I went at 19 weeks and again at 32 weeks. Be sure to drink a lot of fluid and be hydrated before you appointment. You will get a much clearer image that way.

I got mine done at 21 weeks because they found something wrong with her heartbeat....but it still came out pretty good.
