Gender reveal ultrasound today

Today I had the gender reveal ultrasound or what ever you wanna call it. And she said that she was "leaning towards a girl" and "she seen the 3 white lines" and last but not least "I'm pretty sure you guys are going to have a little girl but I'm not 100% sure" that left doubt in the hubby's mind and he still thinks he has a 50/50 chance of being right that it is a boy. I'm pretty sure it is a girl, have been 95% sure throughout the whole pregnancy. and the other day I made the mistake of "agreeing" on a boy's name and thinking of a middle name that I like just to get him to leave me alone about what I thought of boy names. He did this when I was pregnant with our son as well except at that time he was saying girl. But this time he doesn't want to buy anything gender based until he knows for sure and wants me to request another ultrasound. I mean I kind of want another and I'm upset with the doctors that I have only had 2 at this time (I'm 22 weeks). When with my son I had 3 by this point. I switched hospitals because of the long wait for the actual appointment at one hospital and at this office I go to now its a pretty quick in and out service type thing, we talk about what we need to while she is measuring my belly, and checking the heart rate. How do I convince my hubby that this is a girl? With my son I just ignored him, but I knew he wanted a boy so he gave in easily. He is just being a turd and stubborn. Alexis (that is baby girl's name) had her legs crossed tightly but the ultrasound tech showed us the 3 white lines. At first it was hard to see but then we jiggled my belly lol and we seen it. But I am still going with she is a girl until he proves me wrong. And that wont happen until I get another ultrasound and I'm pretty sure he's still wrong. But on the other hand Yay, I'm gonna have a girl lol!!

Congrats! & if I was in your position i'd just ignore him because you saw that it was a girl but if your really worried about it i'd call the dr & tell them what happened & ask if they'd be willing to do another one just to make sure

Thank you! I was planning on calling them tomorrow to ask her why I have only had 2 at this point because I have friends who are literally just a week or 2 further along than I am and they have had 3.

It really does depend on the dr too, I had 1 at 7 weeks but they could barely see anything then another one at 9 weeks(showed the baby was exactly 9 weeks) & then one at 20 weeks to determine the babys sex

I went to our local university with my son and I had 1 at 7-8 weeks, then one at 12ish weeks to confirm the growth, then one at 18-20 weeks for gender.. this time I only had 1 at 12 weeks then this one today at 21-22 weeks

If all of your blood work has come back good along with a normal pap & they saw everything was normal from the 12 week ultrasound then that might be why they haven't done more. They do more when the babys growth is questionable. I would request another one just in case so that you arent buying a ton of stuff for a girl & then find out later it was a boy, at my 30-32 week appointment i'm going to ask that they recheck to make sure mines a boy lol

I know that is what he is afraid of, because he knows I really wanna go get a bring home outfit and other stuff and he knows I really want certain things in certain colors. (i'm completely fine buying bigger things unisex colors) but the little stuff like bedding, or clothes, carseat cover, and just little stuff I would like to buy for gender specific. I already have a diaper bag that is unisex, and even picked out a carseat and stroller that is unisex. So to ease his mind I guess I'll just have to call and ask. It will also ease mine when he stops being a stubborn turd lol

I had my gender scan at 22 Weeks and she said she was pretty sure it was a girl and she was right
