cirumcision6mths also in tp.....

I meant to post this here, but accidently put in teen parenting....

Ok I posted a while back about my son getting circumcised at 6 months, well he has to get it done tommorow! We have to be at the hospital at 6:30 am. They are going to give him a cathetar "sp"? He also has to be put to sleep. I am sooooo worried. Did anyone elses baby have this done??? If so how'd it go?

This is why it HAS to be done......
When he first born they wouldn't do it b/c his skin was too tight so they sent me to a specialist a week after he was born, he wouldn't do it until he's six months b/c some how its harder to do so they had to wait until he was old enough to be put to sleep!. He had a follow up apt like 1 month ago and we had pretty much decided not to get it done, but the uroligist "sp"? said it has to be done b/c his skin is swelled and cracking!

I really don't have much info for you, but I just wanted to say I hope everything goes well for your little man!

Lots of luck but im sure everything will be fine! I had all my boys done just because the increased risk of infections.
