Quoting Kristin Craddock:" I feel, especially now that im in the last few weeks of pregnancy, everyone is dumping all their issues ... [snip!] ... wonderful. Im lucky to have such a wonderful understanding husband that has stuck by my side thick and thin. Thank God for him."
Okay, all joking and teasing aside, who told you that the last few weeks of pregnancy were supposed to be wonderful? They need to be kicked in the ball sack. Hard.
Pregnancy IS wonderful, in its entirety, but the last few weeks are anything BUT that. You can't go anywhere there isn't a toilet within fifty feet, and when you find that bathroom you can only pee a teaspoon at a time.
Your hormones are raging, making you think that everyone is ignoring you and your pain (because let's face it, sometimes it IS pain and if it's your first, there is fear as well, which makes the pain even more pronounced), when all that's really happening is that life is going on around you while you're stuck in your own little pregnant bubble where no one can see YOU. Just your enormous belly.
Whine. Whine a lot. It'll make you feel better.
Ice cream also helps.
