I'm not ttc just a question

How common are evaps lines on a frer tests after the 10 minute mark? I forgot to check the test right away so just reassure me basically that it is an evap ignorance is bliss right now right?

I've never had an evap on those tests.. or any test for that matter.

I've not really ever heard of an evap line happening in 10 min...maybe like an hour or longer, but not 10 min. Shoot when TTC I save my tests for like a month & I've never gotten an evap line to be honest.

picture me and i can tell you whether you need to retest or if you're probably just dealing with an evap. I wouldn't consider ANY line after 10 mins to be true positive, but I can call a for-sure evap or suggest retesting.

Yeah, I also think seeing a pic would possibly help too.

you clearly haven't seen a lot of pee tests. They're pretty common, actually.

Ive taken several FRER over the last few weeks because my dumb birth control has me paranoid that Im pregnant(Im having major symptoms) and I have never seen an evap on any of them. Ive even looked at them days even weeks later and its just the control line on it.

Post a pic mama!! I want to see. Like P said, we can let you know if it's an evap or not. Are you late?

Actually I have. I said I had never had an evap line on any test I've ever taken.

I've heard about them, but never had one & between 2 pregnancies I've spent 4 1/2 years total TTC. I always save my tests for like a month after getting all the BFN each cycle too, and still never had one.

OP, I actually still have all my FRER tests I've taken over the week and they still don't have evap lines.

Don't worry, you're not alone, I've never had one either. Not saying they don't happen, *I'VE* just never had one...even when I've saved tests for a month or more & look at them before throwing them out, still never seen one on all the BFN I've gotten in 4 1/2 years TTC & 2 pregnancies.

Same here. I swore I was pregnant again this past week. I am on my second month of a new bc and I was having obvious pregnancy symptoms, so I took 12 tests in the past week 1/2 lol. They were all negative. They are still in my room.. all negative and no evap. I know they happen, it just hasn't happened to me. I'm pretty sure that it says on the instructions not to read the test after either 5 or 10 minutes because evaps can occur..

However, if I wasnt pregnant and I took a blue dye test(usually EPT) then I WOULD get evaps.
