DEFINITELY NOT Jayden...I hate that name but that's just my opinion.

Everyone and their mamma is naming their children "Jayden, Jaylin, Kaden, Aiden, Brayden", etc....etc.....pretty much every child in one class room will have the same name or same sounding name.

Everything BUT Jayden & Kayden...EVERYONE has those names & is waaay too common.

I like Aliyah, but with out all those extra letters... :S

I'm planning on naming my baby girl Riley.  

I like AAliyah Jade...or Aaliyah Jadyn...very cute..and im one of those mothers who has named their child(girl) Jadyn...although I named her that back in 1998 when the name wasnt popular!!!!

When something isn't popular, it's different, but there's going to be an entire generation of kids in every classroom named Kaiden, Jayden, Jaylin, Brayden, Aiden, etc...etc....there will be more kids per classroom with that name then not. I've never known anyone with our son's name, being Mario Emmanuel....we got that name because his father's name is Marco, but being his penmanship is terrible, everyone thought his name to be Mario...and also, my SIL's name is Maria....and Emmanuel means "Son of God." I didn't pick out any of those names but I will with our next child - even though my husband tells me otherwise.

well my daughter as i said is 10 and she doesnt go to school with anyone with those names.i mean noone in her school.so i was fortunate.but who cares any ways whether 10 kids got the name or just your kid.a names a name and yes its a very joyous time to create a name for your lil person.but theres always gonna be people in the world with the name they may not have it in a baby book but someone out there.my daughter is Anjelia i named her that cuz i was pregnant with twin girls and one was aaliyah and one was Anjelina and one passed away in utero so i put the two names together and i lived in florida last winter and worked with a 47 yo lady and that was her name and my girl was already 5yo.she even spelled it the same..so it happens thats just the way it is but i feel if you like a name then use it whether 100 people have it.

I agree... In the classroom I work in there is an Aiden, Jayden and Hayden...  
And they are 3-4 years before the "trend" started...
