It's not for everyone. I did it (non intentional) with my oldest & I'd really like to try again. I am also one of those weirdo's who doesn't like to take medicine.
As for your boys, At least you are informed & understand what they are going through. Which in turns makes educated enough to help with the healing process.

I have a son that is intact and twin boys that will be intact as well when they get here.
I cannot believe the misguided information that people in the medical field give to parents. My son recently started going to a new ped. office at his 1 year appointment. We were seen by a nurse practitioner who tried to retract his foreskin and I about slapped her. She then told me I needed to start pulling back his foreskin to clean his penis.  
Then the other day, my husbands aunt- who is a nurse- told me that she pulled back the foreskin on all three of her boys and washed their penises with soap ... She shook her head in disapproval when I told her i dont clean under his foreskin...

My husband thinks i am nuts because all of these people keep giving us the wrong information but he thinks i am the one who is wrong so I told him come here so i can pull back your foreskin and wash the head of your penis with soap. I think he realized how asinine it all sounded after that.
Thank you for posting, i made sure i was within ear shot of my husband so the video would back me in future arguments

I am so afraid one of these know-it-all family members is going to hurt my sons penis during a diaper change or bath. It makes me so nervous. My hubby didnt even know what my sons penis was supposed to look like, he thinks because it is not retracted and there is only a tiny hole that something is wrong. I ended up having to google an image of an uncirc'ed baby boy so i could prove him wrong which made me feel like a pedophile because i am typing "uncircumcised baby penis" into my search engine lmao

I am tempted to start potty training early for this reason. He will be around that family more when the twins get here in October. I am not beyond smacking someone over it.
