got the 36 week checkup today, i'm 1.5 cm dilated and 90% effaced. He's measuring at about 38 weeks because of my diabetes, so i'm praying he comes soon becuase i dont think i can take this much longer!

I turned 34 weeks yesterday, and he dropped last night. Im having contractions that last for about three hours every 15 mins, quit for an hour or two and come back. Im so miserable, does anyone else have problems with all their joints hurting? my wrist ankles and knees hurt, I feel like I cant walk most of the time esp when my ankles are always swollen, I found that if I keep my feet up and lower the sodium they dont swell as bad. Im just hoping this earlier developier will come out soon enough!

Quoting no longer empty arms:“ I wish I was due June 1!! lol I am due June 7 with twin girls. Your odds of this baby being "over ... [snip!] ... placenta to seperate putting you and the baby both in danger. You can bleed to death and the baby's life supply can be cut off.”

I don't know if someone asked you this already, but are you going to get a c-section or deliever vaginally. & are you going to go up to your due date?

I'm asking because everyone i've known that's had twins (my step-mom and my own mom) and some others, have all had c-sections two weeks before their said due date.

They weren't even given the option of vaginal birth, and both had normal pregnancies.

anyways; I'm sooooooooo ready to see her face already and hold her! My baby shower is saturday night and I was looking forward to it since february, but now that it's almost here, I don't even care. lol It's too close to my due date and now I just want her here!

Wow ladies, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one going through this "I'm SO ready to be done phase" lol....on the bright side we'll all be done before we know it. As for the ladies with little ones already....I hear ya!! My daughter just turned 2 two weeks ago and she's just a ball of energy. I feel so guilty that my over sized waddling body can't keep up with her anymore....17 more days!! But I have my fingers and my toes crossed that I'll be sooner!!

I am arguing with my Dr about the C-sec. She scheduled one and I don't see it necessary. Unless there is something wrong with me or the babies that could cause damage or death, she is going to have to keep her knife in her pocket. I am not sure why they do that. It agrivates me. As of today, Twin A has gone head down so if I go into labor anytime soon they are coming naturally and I don't give a crap what the Dr says. It is my body and I make the decision. lol My Dr did sched a c-sect the day before my due date. Stupid I know. Insurance will pay more on a c-sec than on a natural and it doesn't matter how many babies it is all the same pay. That is why I find they push c-sec so much.

I hear ya! I can't wait to hold my little girls and look into their eyes.

I am due June 15th, father day! I am anxious to get my body back. But dealing with my stubborn 18 month old daughter and trying to get moved into a larger home, I want this one to stay in here as long as she can! LOL
I still have to get her room ready in the new house. To top it all off, DH isn't here. He is SUPPOSED to be back around May 28th. I am praying he makes it home before the baby comes. To top it off, our anniversary is the 29th! Six years married! wow!
I am still packing up this house. I move in the new one the 23rd and have my inspection on this one on the 30th... to get my deposit back.
Thank God for friends that are helping me. I wanna be moved in before DH gets home. So yeah, I want this baby to be late LOL!
My first was 3 days early though... and thats it.

Hi, My first one actually arrived 4 days early. My second one arrived 3 days late. I am hoping that this one arrives a little early. They told me that third babies can be a little more difficult than the previous ones. They also said sometimes labor lasts longer. I sure hope not. LOL. Good Luck with your little one.

Yeah I think it's totally unnecessary for your doctor to push a c-section on you when your having a completely fine pregnancy. I hope you get what you want! Good luck if you go into natural labor, pushing one baby out is a little nerv-wrecking for me, I couldn't imagine pushing out two! You are a brave woman

With my daughter (1st) I dropped around 35 weeks, it was like you get your lungs back but your bladder pays the price. As far as dropping goes, I talked to my doctor about this last week and she said that it's completely over rated and it doesn't actually mean anything. She also said that in additional pregnancies you might not even drop untillabor starts, it's usually only your first pregnancy where you drop early.Either way from my experience with my daughter and from what I've heard it could still be weeks away. Hopefully for all of us it's sooner than that...the last few weeks of pregnancy are BRUTAL!! lol
