Nervous.... results from LEEP

So I thought I understood what my doctor was explaining to me today, but I got home and realized I really didn't. It seemed to make sense when he was talking but now I am completley cluless. So last well I had a LEEP procedure done, well I went back today to get the reslults . He said that the cells were abnormal and changing , but not cancer. He also mentioned that it is likely they could change into cancer, so we need to keep a close eye on things. I am so confused, so what does this mean "abnormal" should I be worried? And if it is likely for them to change why wouldnt they take care of it now? Ughh, I wish I would have asked more questions, now I am being a big worry wart. Just wondering if anyone else has gone through this?

Definetly not a dumb question , I didn't know what it was before I had to have it done. I had it done because my biopsy's came back abnormal, and I guess it is a better way to get a sample. It also removes the cels so thats good. However it definetely didn't feel good ! I may have been being a baby, but I had my baby all natural pushing for 2 hrs and I would rather go through that! ( I guess my nerves prob made it worse too though....Im such a baby, lol )

I had a leep back in 06 caused my cervix to become incompetent which caused problems throughout my whole pregnancy. Anyways, enough of that my doc explained levels to be Mild, Moderate, or Severe. All of my paps came back mils until one came back moderate that is when the leep was done. The results from the leep came back mild. I am still watched very closly. After baby I finally had a pap come back negative which means I don't have to go back for a whole 6 months. Call you doc so you don't freak out and ask him/her to explain again.
