a bit disappointed :/ i really wanted a vbac

so they are gonna do a repeat c-section by the end of this week :/ im already 41 weeks and they don't think its safe to let me go past 42 and i was told he didn't wanna induce me with pitocin because it can raise the risk of uterine rupture also they sent me for a estimated fetal weight and she is about 8 pounds 11 ounces my first baby that wasn't that big was to big for me and they had to do a c-section i have a narrow birth canal   so i'm a bit disappointed but i figure its better this way

I'm sorry you won't get your vbac. Just remember it doesn't matter how that baby is born, all that matters is you get to hold the baby soon  

Once your baby is in your arms all disappointment will start to fade. I made it to 40wks and my fluid levels dropped drastically she gave me one more day to go into labor, contractions didn't start until like an hour before the scheduled c section. But I was prepared, its more comfortable knowing rather then going in for an emergency.

It's totally normal to be nervous! Are you just nervous in general or is there something that sticks out?

They gave me Pitocin to augment my vbac even though they said they wouldn't (and I consented,  ) and I ended up having another emergency c-section.

Maybe you'll go into labor before the week's over   Labor dust!

i have a anxiety disorder but this defiantly makes it worse

thanks (: i hope so but she had a hard time even finding my cervix its still high and for the last month ive tried almost everything to help get her here including all different kinds of teas, foods, walking, squats, epo and acupressure everything but sex and castor oil but shes still real high i haven't dilated or effaced

Try sex :-)

At my 39 week apppt I was closed completely, and I went into labor at home (my water broke) at 40w 4d. I realize you're already overdue, but hey... you never know.

yup im already 41 weeks but i guess anything is possible
