delayed cord clamping

I'm not pregnant but has any done delayed cord clamping? Would you like to share and if you did it did you breast feed? Do tell...

Yes we delayed cord clamping and I also bf.

i did, they clamped and DH cut the cord about 15 minutes after she was born, while i was nursing for the first time. it was pretty special to me

I wanted to but the midwife kinda shrugged it off   But we had skin to skin from the moment she was born, and SO cut the cord while she was on my chest, I birthed the placenta while she was on my chest. We're still BFing at 19m.

I wanted to do this but my body refused to cooperate and I needed an emergency Cesar. I also missed out on skin on skin until about an hour after he was born and even then it was quickly in recovery. Things are going to be so different for my next birth. I'm already planning it in my head and we aren't even really TTC right now  

wanted to do both but needed an emergency c-section I didn't even get to see her until she was about 10 minutes old because the NICU staff instantly whisked her away to suction the meconium out of her lungs didn't get to hold her for about an hour because she was in the NICU but we do BF and did skin to skin in recovery. Can't wait to try for a VBAC next time

I missed out on this too, emergency c section, my partner could not cut little ones cord and it was over an hour after the c section that I got skin to skin as I was really ill. Lucky though my little boy got skin to skin with his daddy instead.

At least you got 10 minutes I didnt get to see my son for 5 hours because they didnt have my room ready after my csection

I wanted to do this. Even skin to skin would have been nice but I didnt get to see him until 634pm and he was born at 136pm

They didn't want to show her to me at all my husband refused to leave the OR until I had gotten to see and kiss her. If he hadn't done that I wouldn't have gotten to see my daughter at all until an hour later. I got her in recovery though I didn't have to wait for my room. I'm sorry they did that to you
