Nanny/babysitter question.

If you were paying someone to watch your child in your home, would you allow them to nap when the baby naps?

Nope. Wouldn't chance that they wouldn't wake up when she did and she'd be crying for too long.


If it was someone I KNEW I could trust to wake up and be able to do so in a timely fashion, then I suppose. But I only trust my mom in that area, lol.

Srsly.

One time i woke up to pee and left DS with DH in the bed. I come in and DS is snacking on a dorito because DH left the bag on the nightstand. And of course he's passed out.

Newho... No I would not allow someone to sleep while watching my child. However my sister had daycare and she would have people come into her house at 4 am to drop kids off while she was still sleeping, just lay the kids on the couches.

I was pissed then. But I laugh about it now. AJ didn't care at all. I flipped out and fished it out of his mouth though. How he managed to crawl over DH and unroll the bag without waking him up is beyond me.

And WOW. On the couch???
