Well I was induced on the 20th at around 8:30 am. I started ou at 1cm. They put me on pitocin and checked me every hour and I was not making any progress so they broke my water at 1cm to get things moving and boy it was hard to break with my cervix barely opened. Lol. Then they kept cranking up the pitocin until they got to 30. The nurse came and told me that they have other medicines they could try to get my dilating. They told me they usually stop pitocin at 30 but they were going to crank me to 40 instead, they also didnt offer me any pain medication. Then the night shift nurses came in and I got a new nurse who told me she was going to completely ignore my doctor because they were torturing me with all the contractions and no pain meds. She unhooked my iv and had me get a shower and put me on darvaset (or however you spell it) after that she let me get an epidural. So then the guy came in to do it and ended up sticking the needle in my back 9 times before he got a good spot. He yelled at me the whole time because he couldn't get it right. But my back was swollen from laying in the bed for so long and that was the problem. I really don't remember much from then on because I was drugged up which wasn't the plan. Since I was barely making progress they said I may have to get a c section and my so didn't want to be in there if that happened. Also his sister started a fight with my family so my bp kept sky rocketing. Once I hit 5 cm it seemed to go quick. I started pushing before I knew it. I kept falling asleep while pushing. I tore and had to get an episiotomy. I fell asleep right after my daughter was born and I feel so guilty for it. That's just a little bit of the story. It was a crazy experience... But I would relive it all any day! She was born July 21st at 5:53 am 9lbs 3oz 21.25in sorry if this is a lotto read

Something about that made it hard to read so I didn't but congrats on a healthy delivery.
And just curious, is your daughter's name pronounced the same as 'Aubrey'?
